  • BAHAMAS: The state of the Bahamas consists of an archipelago of about 700 islands (including numerous coral islets, some completely uninhabited) in the Atlantic Ocean, east of Florida, in the Caribbean Sea. Each of its islands is part of the Commonwealth, whose sovereignty belongs to the current Queen of England Elizabeth II. With a generally mild climate and a water temperature that is constantly around 26 degrees thanks to the phenomenon of the Gulf Stream, it is a pleasant destination all year round, especially from November to April, the least rainy season. In addition, between Christmas and New Year the Junkanoo takes place, a parade with engaging music and dancing, colorful costumes complete with a final award ceremony. The most not recommended period is the one that goes from June to October as they can reserve unexpected surprises. In addition to the sultry heat, there is a significant hurricane risk that almost every year warns tourists and inhabitants not only of the archipelago, but also of neighboring states such as Florida, Cuba, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Of all the islands of the Bahamas archipelago, 5 are the islands (or groups of islands) among the most popular and popular destinations.
  • BIMINI: Located just 50 miles off the coast of Florida, Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the United States, boasting miles of pristine beaches. Known as Ernest Hemingway's favorite retreat, Bimini is steeped in history. Visitors from all over the world marvel at its rich and complex past, including Bimini Road, which some believe to be what remains of the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Bimini is made up of two main islands – North Bimini Island and South Bimini Island – and several coral islands. The history of Bimini is as fascinating as the islands themselves. Just 50 miles from the United States, they were used as a convenient speakeasy on the high seas to trade in liquor during Prohibition. Rum smugglers used them to store their wares. And speaking of rum, Ernest Hemingway called Bimini his summer residence. Jimmy Buffett spent a time on this island while writing his book and Martin Luther King, Jr. even composed parts of his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech while sailing here with local boat builder Ansil, who still today lives on the islands. The Bimini Nature Trail allows you to see the endemic plants and animals that live in Bimini in their natural environment. During the guided tours, you can get up close to the indigenous Bimini boa and find out why this endangered snake is so important to the island. The Healing Hole: This pond has earned its name (The Healing Hole) due to the healing properties reported by those who swim in it. Accessible only by boat, it is a natural freshwater spring that pumps lithium and sulfur into a salt marsh amidst the mangroves of Bonefish Creek. Ernest Hemingway is closely linked to the history of Bimini, because he paved the way for fishermen who, driving their boats, cross the Gulf Stream from Florida to follow in his footsteps, and try their hand at some of the most coveted fish in the world as well as against each other. The Memorial to Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrates the great legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose visit to the island in 1968 had a great impact on the population. Alice Town's Bimini Craft Center houses a bronze bust of him.
  • Bimini Scuba Center By Neal Watson:

The Great Hammerhead Shark, or great hammerhead shark, is the most likely marine species of predator to be encountered in Bimini. But the turquoise blue waters of the island feature abundant marine life – from the smallest of reef fish to Atlantic spotted dolphins to southern rays. Neal Watson's Bimini Scuba Center in the famous Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina's is the best choice to tackle these waters with level equipment, professionalism of the guides and in total safety. Among the main activities to choose from:

  • THE GREAT HAMMER SHARK SAFARI: Bimini is one of the best places in the world on the planet to encounter one of the ocean's most amazing predators, the Great Hammerhead Shark. These very elusive giants of the sea have been for years the difficult dream for the many divers who for years have dived in search of these predators. Neal Watson's Bimini Scuba Center is the first and only Bimini operator to offer this fantastic excursion, keeping the secrets that make this spectacular experience unique. It should be noted that the Great Hammerhead Safari, due to the non-constant presence during the year of this marine species in the waters of Bimini, it is salable for a limited period of time each year, and availability is also limited.

  • REEF SHARK SAFARI: Triangle Rocks is home to the ideal environment for Reef Shark Safari. As the name suggests, it is the safari that allows you to observe Blacktip, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and often Bull, Lemon and Hammerhead Sharks in their environment, in a controlled and safe environment. Once the divers are in the water, an experienced staff member will drop a homemade frozen "chumsickle" and enjoy watching these beautiful marine predators at work! An exhilarating and educational safari!

  • BREED SAFARI: Bimini is a fantastic place to meet a wide variety of different breed species, though few are as friendly and playful as the local breeds down in Honeymoon Harbor. This idyllic Gun Cay beach is home to a population of Southern Stingrays (Dasyatis Americana) that eagerly awaits the arrival of guests. By simply stepping off the beach or floating on the back of our boat, guests can interact with these fun fish in a safe and exotic environment. This is a great excursion for families and non-scuba divers. It is also a perfect place and way for divers to enjoy these wonderful diverse creatures in their ranges on the surface when they are taken to explore the stunning Cat Cay reefs.

  • WILD DOLPHIN SAFARI: Atlantic spotted dolphins are among the most curious and playful of all marine mammals. On this wild dolphin safari, we will travel north past the Bimini Islands to the western end of the Great Bahama Bank. From 5 to 10 meters of water, the white sand bottom creates an incredible contrast with the crystal clear water. Once a dolphin crosses a boat, he enjoys sailing in the wake of the water craft and performing improvised acrobatic actions. When the time is right, slip into the water and play with these stained beauties. Experience not to be missed.

  • WATER SPORTS: For those who do not practice scuba-diving, or for those who want to relax with other water activities, the resort has sea kayaks and SUP rentals, to immerse yourself in the blue beauty of Bimini from the shore, to access sweet mangrove coves while observing in silence the tropical birds, fish and rays that thrive in these shallow waters. Guided tours that include lunch are easily arranged and are a great way to explore some of Bimini's best kept secrets such as Healing Hole and Eastern Welles.

  • SNORKELING ON THE LAKE: Direct exposure to the Atlantic Ocean and relatively shallow reefs make Bimini one of the most spectacular water destinations in the Bahamas. The stunning coral reefs, blue holes, and canyons are not only easily accessible, but provide shelter for an abundance of marine life ranging from the smallest of reef fish to turtles, dolphins, eagle rays and more yet. Explore on your own or let our expert guides show you their favorite coral gardens, spectacular continental shelf walls, and fish-covered wreck sites. Snorkeling equipment is available free of charge for guests of the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina, and delicious packed lunches can be prepared upon request for guests on afternoon or all-day excursions.

At the end of the stay at the BIMINI BIG GAME CLUB RESORT & MARINA, a short taxi ride from the Bimini Big Game Club (with a small additional cost) to the North Bimini pier. Ferry ride to South Bimini, on arrival private transfer to Bimini International Airport (BIM).

  • Flight to Nassau and subsequent intercontinental flight to Italy (NOT INCLUDED)
  • Meals and overnight on board.
  • The next day, arrival at the Rome Fiumicino or Milan Malpensa airport.
