Rangiroa is one of the most renowned scuba diving spots in the world. From initiation diving to exploring the lagoon, canals and steep ocean reefs, novices or experienced and demanding divers will be impressed by the exceptional variety and richness of the underwater fauna and the unrivaled beauty of its seabed and its Flora. The exceptional character of its places is due to the strong density of the fauna of the lagoon and the presence of its two passes, channels that connect the lagoon to the ocean, rich in pelagic. Among the most spectacular dives, those of the steep cliffs with numerous caves stand out, which have extremely evocative names: La Grotta Degli Sharali where you can admire white tip sharks, silky sharks and hammerhead sharks, or Lo Spiovente and La Pala A Vento. The swarms of surgeonfish, mullet, napoleon, proceed alongside manta ray or leopard, sea eagles, while schools of jacks and barracudas swim suspended in the blue of the ocean.

Rangiroa è uno dei luoghi di immersione subacquea più rinomati al mondo. Dall’immersione di iniziazione all’esplorazione della laguna, dei canali e degli scogli scoscesi dell’oceano, i neofiti o i sub esperti ed esigenti saranno impressionati dall’eccezionale varietà e ricchezza della fauna sottomarina e dalla bellezza senza eguali dei suoi fondali e della sua flora. Il carattere eccezionale dei suoi luoghi è dovuto alla forte densità della fauna della laguna e alla presenza dei suoi due pass, canali che collegano la laguna all’Oceano, ricchi di pelagico. Tra le immersioni più spettacolari, spiccano quelle delle ripide scogliere dalle numerose caverne, che hanno nomi estremamente evocativi : La Grotta Degli Squali ove si possono ammirare squali pinna bianca, squali seta e squali martello, oppure Lo Spiovente E La Pala A Vento. I nugoli di pesci chirurgo, triglie, napoleone, procedono a fianco a razze manta o leopardo, aquile di mare, mentre banchi di caranghe e barracuda nuotano sospesi nel blu dell’Oceano.
